The Surreal Life

The summer will soon be drawing to a close and the cooler winds of fall are on the way. LSU football is brewing like a good pot of Community Coffee, filling the air with a sweet aroma that makes everyone who is able is able to catch a whiff to want a cup. (Miriam loves the stuff. I love the smell but not so much drinking it. I can probably count on one hand how many cups of coffee I drink a year.)

Miriam and I are only a few weeks away from knowing whether we will be having a little tiger or a little tigress. She is starting to show a little. Of course she thinks she's as big as a house, but I don't think she's showing all that much yet. (NOTE: For all of our family and friends that are requesting pictures so that they can see her lil pooch, I'll try to get some soon.)

We have had a good summer with the youth at church, experiencing some healthy growth in both number and quality. Submerge in Destin was incredible and I hope we can take every member of our group next year.

Do you ever have moments where the moment you are in seems like a dream? I've been having a lot of those moments lately. It all seems so surreal.
