Almost cool but not quite. That's how I feel as I type my first blog post from a Mac. Pretty cool but not as cool as it could be. I'd feel cooler if it were one of the new Intel Macs, but hey, it's a start.
My biggest complaint so far with installing software and using the Mac is that I'm not up to speed with the best of breed Mac applications. I've been using and supporting Windows environments for so long that it's all I know. I can pretty much tell you what applications to use for what purposes on a PC. I'm sure that I'll be an OS X pro in due time.
If you're using a Mac, what are your essential apps?

Good for you jumping on the Mac-Wagon. I love my Mac. I don't know anything about these applications you speak of, but I did add Office because the Mac version of Word really sucked. I do have a neat program called MacGourmet, Probably not for you, but Miriam will like it.
I love my mac and my ipod! :)
