Bayou Bound

It is now official. Miriam, Ian and I are bayou bound. We'll soon be moving to Lafayette, Louisiana.

To all of my dear friends in Charlotte: Our hearts are heavy with the thought of not being with you. Our 4 years in North Carolina have been a tremendous blessing. We have learned so much and grown so much during our time here--emotionally, spiritually, and well, physically with the addition of Ian to the family. You will be dearly missed. Please keep in touch!

To all of our family and friends back in the Deep South: You have been asking when we were making a move back. You got your wish! Some of you were apparently praying hard for that. Be sure to get in touch with us so we can hang out.

(August 18: I wrote this post but forgot to post it. Sorry for the extremely long delay.)

Line 6 Feedback Request

I recently picked up a Line 6 Pod XT Live and am curious if any of you have some patches that you would recommend for praise and worship.

It would be great to get it setup so that I can use it for a set soon. I'm thinking that a bank with distortion, chorus, delay and maybe a clean acoustic effect would pretty much get me through a whole worship set.

Looking forward to the feedback...

Apartment Living

We're so happy and relieved that our house sold recently. Now we're moved into an apartment and trying to enjoy not having to get out of the house at a moment's notice for a showing. Our options have definitely expanded now.

We even made a quick trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to celebrate and to get a little relaxation. Much overdo in my opinion. I've needed some time away from boxes and to enjoy the family.

Thank God for His faithfulness and for giving us the strength to see this process through to completion!
